Before you buy a CBG product

The nine checks

Nine checks a buyer can make from the paperwork, each linked to the instrument on the site that performs it. None of them is a health question; all of them are about what the documents should show.

  1. A COA describes one batch. Match its batch or lot number to the one on the jar, and ask for a test date you would accept as recent. Open flag 2 on the COA flags sheet →

  2. The lab should have a name and an address you can reach, and it should not be the brand. A brand testing itself is a claim, not a result. Open flag 1 on the COA flags sheet →

  3. Open the cannabinoid panel and read the CBG row against the milligrams per serving the label states. The two should agree once the units do. Open the specimen certificate, line by line →

  4. Milligrams per gram on a liquid needs a density; a label in milligrams per millilitre against a certificate in milligrams per gram needs one too. Ask for it. Open flag 5 on the COA flags sheet →

  5. A total-CBG headline that folds CBGA in without saying so is counting a different molecule. Ask which figure the label counts. Open flag 7 on the COA flags sheet →

  6. Not detected means nothing without the limit it was measured against. The LOQ column is the substance of every ND on the contaminant panel. Open flag 6 on the COA flags sheet →

  7. Paste the label's wording into the checker. Words that name a disease, a treatment or a cure fail the same rules the site applies to its own answers. Open the claim checker in the Label Lab →

  8. If the seller mentions an effect, find the rung its evidence would earn. For CBG the human record on effects is small, and most effect wording sits below Low or off the ladder. Open the six rungs on How we grade →

  9. CBG is on the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibited list, and trace CBG in a broad-spectrum product was detectable in urine after repeated use. Check the current list and the COA. Open the anti-doping note under the buying guide →

Cardiovascular note grade: grade: Hypothesized

CBG may influence blood pressure via α2-adrenoceptor activity; the direction and magnitude of any human effect are uncharacterized. Mechanistic plausibility only: the receptor activity has been measured in the laboratory, and no study has measured a blood-pressure effect of CBG in a person. If you take blood-pressure medication or have a cardiovascular condition, consult a clinician first.

Informational only, not medical, legal or purchasing advice. Nothing here diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any disease, and a product passing every check is not an endorsement. A listing on the site shows what a well-run source looks like and stays an example until the partner is independently verified. Report a safety event. Peregrine Biopharma funds the platform and holds no editorial authority.
