Find it

Search the atlas.

Every page, question, glossary term and condition dossier, in one box. Type a compound, a phrase from a label, or a term you met in a paper. The ranking runs in your browser over a static index built with the site; a query reaches our host only if you submit without JavaScript or share it as a link.

The questions people open first.

One question from each of the pages the atlas ranks highest, answered on the page it opens, with the grade attached there.

  1. Question/monograph

    What is CBG?

CBG (cannabigerol) is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid found naturally in hemp and cannabis.

  2. Question/cbga

    What is CBGA?

CBGA (cannabigerolic acid) is the first cannabinoid the plant makes, a non-intoxicating acid it then converts into the precursors of THC, CBD and CBC, hence its billing as the "parent" cannabinoid.

  3. Question/thcv

    What is THCV (tetrahydrocannabivarin)?

THCV is a minor cannabinoid that cannabis and hemp make naturally, the propyl relative of THC, with a shorter side chain, and it acts differently at the CB₁ receptor.

  4. Question/cbn

    What is CBN?

Cannabinol (CBN) is what THC turns into as it ages: a minor, non-intoxicating cannabinoid in cannabis and hemp, and THC's oxidative breakdown product.

  5. Question/cbgv

    What is CBGV?

CBGV (cannabigerovarin) is a rare, non-intoxicating minor cannabinoid, the propyl (varin) homolog of CBG, found in trace amounts in some hemp and cannabis varieties.

  6. Question/cbdv

    What is CBDV?

CBDV (cannabidivarin) is a minor cannabinoid in cannabis and hemp that doesn't intoxicate.

Or follow an order

Four reading paths.

A formulator, a brand owner, a lab and a buyer each need a different set of pages, in a different order. Each path ends with a short check of your own judgement.

  1. Reading path7 pages

    Formulator

From the family map to the lot paperwork.

  2. Reading path7 pages

    Brand owner

From the claim on the label to the grade behind it.

  3. Reading path7 pages

    Lab or QA manager

From the certificate to the registry hash.

  4. Reading path7 pages

    Buyer, consumer or retail

From the jar to the trial record.

What is indexed

What the box can find.

The index is rebuilt with the site, from the same files the pages read, so a result is never a listing for something that does not exist. Counts as of 13 October 2026.

  • 99 pages: every route in the sitemap, by its title and description.
  • 802 questions: the compound FAQs, the family FAQ and the questions under each comparison, explainer and topic.
  • 60 glossary terms: each opens its definition.
  • 12 condition dossiers: CBG by condition, under the wording people search.

The ranking weighs words, not evidence. Where a question shows a grade, it is the grade its answer carries, and the page each result opens holds the full record. How we grade explains the ladder every claim on the site sits on, and the family map shows where each compound sits.
